Isla's first zoo trip

We took Isla to the zoo for the first time yesterday. She had such a good time and loved being out and looking at the animals! Of course, the giraffe was her favorite! 

28 weeks old

Isla was 28 weeks old yesterday! We had such a fun day at the zoo for Isla's first visit. 

Isla's first two teeth!

Isla has been so grumpy today and not napping at all. I felt her gums today and sure enough her two bottom teeth are coming in! We went to the pediatrician two days ago and he said there was no sign of teeth! She is 6 months and 1 week! 

27 weeks old

Isla was 27 weeks old yesterday! We were busy at her doctors appointment! 

6 month doctors appointment

Isla had her 6 month doctors appointment today. She weighs 17 lbs 10 oz and is 27 inches long. She gained 1 lb 7 oz and 1.5 inches since her last appointment. She loved playing with the paper on the bench we lay her on! 

6 months old

Isla is 6 months old today! I can't believe she is already half a year! She wears 9-12 month clothes and loves to squeal! She is a rolling machine and is desperately trying to sit up on her own. We just adore her! 

26 weeks old

Isla is 26 weeks old today! She has woken up imma at 4:00 am two nights in a row! Let's hope that stops soon! 

25 weeks old

Isla is 25 weeks old! We went up to the mountains this past weekend and she loved the snow! 

24 weeks old

Isla is 24 weeks old as of yesterday! She started eating solids and loves avocado as her first food!

Isla is 5.5 months today and is always going after my food! We decided to try out avocado today and she loves it! She couldn't get enough. 

Isla's first Hanukkah and thanksgiving

We celebrated Isla's first Hanukkah and thanksgiving this year. We got to spend time with family and Isla really enjoyed hanging out with everyone! 

23 weeks old

Isla is 23 weeks old today! She officially wears 9 month clothing! 

Isla rolled onto her belly today!

Isla can officially roll from belly to back and back to belly! Today she actually rolled to her belly for the first time while I was in the bathroom and I missed it! Luckily, I got the second roll on video. She is 23 weeks tomorrow! 

22 weeks old

Isla is 22 weeks old today! She is very excited about it! 

5 month doctors appointment

Today Isla had her 5 month doctors appointment. She weighs 16 lbs 3 oz and is 25.5 inches tall. She gained 1 lb 5 oz and half an inch in length. She is very healthy and growing like a weed! 

5 months old

Isla is 5 months old today! She loves to squeal and talk to us. She rolls over from her tummy to her back daily and she giggles at us all the time! She sleeps through the night in her crib and is starting to love tummy time! 

21 weeks old

Isla is 21 weeks old today! She is trying to scoot forward during tummy time and loves to roll from her belly to her back! 

Isla just rolled over!

Well it finally happened! Isla rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time today! We practice all the time, but the moment abba got home we went to show him how close she gets and she did it twice! She is 20 weeks and a few days. This was right before she did it for the second time. 

20 weeks old

Isla is 20 weeks old as of yesterday! We are a day late this week due to Isla's ear infection and we also found out today she is allergic to Penacillin. She is feeling much better after she took Benadryl for her hives. Poor baby... Even when she doesn't feel well she smiles! 

Isla's first halloween

Today is halloween and of course we had to dress Isla up! We started our day off at the doctor, poor baby has her first ear infection. She has not been a happy camper for the past 48 hours and we are hoping the medicine kicks in so she can get some relief. Even when she is sick, we can get a beautiful smile! Princess Belle loves halloween! 

19 weeks old

Isla is 19 weeks old today! She slept in her crib for the first time last night and slept 11.5 hrs straight! She is growing up so fast!

Last night was Isla's first night in her crib! She is 4.5 months old now and I knew it was time because she was waking up all night when Nate or I moved even a little bit. She was also trying to wake up for the day at 4:30 am and that was not acceptable for us! We decided that maybe she was getting to distracted being right next to me, so we decided to bite the bullet and move her. I was a nervous wreck all night and slept maybe 1 hour total. I just kept staring at her video monitor worried I won't hear something! We'll let me say, she slept 11.5 hours straight! I couldn't believe it! We will see if it happens again tonight, but I am so proud of my independent girl!

I saw on Pinterest a baby in a pumpkin and I couldn't resist! We had to put our little one in a pumpkin! She was so good and actually liked it! She liked the texture of the inside! She is such a ham! 

Isla's first pumpkin patch

We took Isla to lunch and her first pumpkin patch today. We got a great pumpkin which we will be using for photos in a few days so stay tuned! She had a great time even though it was 85 degrees and crowded. Only in West Hollywood would there be a place for paparazzi! Gotta love LA! We had a great time and can't wait until halloween! 

18 weeks old

Isla is 18 weeks old today and laughing up a storm! Once she started she can't stop! 

4 month doctor appointment

Isla had her 4 month doctor appointment today. She weighs 14 lbs 14 oz and is 25 inches tall. She gained 2 lbs 6 oz and 1.5 inches since her last appointment! We couldn't believe it but after her shots she full blown laughed for the first time! Not just a small giggle, but a full hysterical belly laugh! What an amazing baby we have!! Nate and I were shocked and the nurse who gave her the shot said in her 10 years of being a pediatric nurse a baby has only laughed 1 other time after getting her shots!
