15 month doctors appointment

Isla had her 15 month doctors appointment today. She weighs 25 lbs 7 oz and is 33 inches tall. She is 99% for height and 94% for weight. She is super talkative and the doctor says she is very advanced! We have a little daredevil on our hands! 

We have a solo walker!

Isla is 13 months and 2 weeks old today and is walking on her own!! She finally has the confidence in herself and you can see how happy she is! We are so proud of her and love her so much! She waited until abba got home from work to show off!! 

Isla's first real ouch!

Today isla experienced her first real bump/cut/bruise. She has been exploring more and smacked her face right into the edge of the book ledge and I just couldn't catch her in time. I felt so awful and she was so upset! I guess for both of us it is a right of passage and we made it to 13 months with minor scratches! 

12.5 month doctors appt with new doctor

Today we had our first appointment with isla's new pediatrician. She is so sweet and smart and Isla really liked her! She weighes 24 lbs 2 oz and is 31.5 inches tall. She gained 15 ounces and 1 inch in just three weeks! She is 98% for height and 93% for weight! The doctor said Isla is very bright and we have our hands full (don't we know)!

12 months old

My little baby is one today!!! I just can't believe it. She has so much personality and such a sense of humor. She loves to eat anything we put in front of her and is so close to walking. She loves talking and her favorite words are ima, abba, keke, savta, Becca, cup, book and most recently NO! She is so determined and already such a spitfire! We couldn't possibly love her anymore than we do. Happy birthday my sweet sweet soul! 

52 weeks old

Isla is 52 weeks old today!! I cannot believe this is our last weekly photo! It has gotten so hard getting her to sit still, so I am kind of happy to be done! She is just an amazing baby!!! 

51 weeks old

Isla is 51 weeks old today! I can't believe my baby is going to be one next week! It is almost impossible to get her to stay still for even two seconds to take the weekly picture... I am almost excited to be done with them! 

12 month doctors appointment

Isla had her 12 month doctors appointment today. We had it a bit early because we wanted to make sure to get one last visit in with our awesome pediatrician before we move next week. She weighed in at 23 lbs 3 oz and 30.5 inches long. Since her 10 month visit (2 months ago) she gained 1 lb 3 oz and 1 inch! She will be off formula in a week and is looking very healthy and especially happy. She has 6 teeth and is currently getting 7 and 8! 

50 weeks old

Isla was 50 weeks old last Friday! We were in San Diego for my sister's wedding. Isla was the cutest flower baby ever and she had so much fun!! I can't believe she is almost 1! She loves to stand by herself and I wouldn't be surprised if she started walking very soon! 

Isla's 1st birthday and Nate's graduation party

Since we are moving, we had Isla's first birthday party a bit early. Also, Nate graduated from rabbinical school so we had a joint party! Our apartment was completely empty and it was a perfect space for a party! Isla loved her cupcake so much! She was very careful with it at first and then she just went for it! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the party. 

49 weeks old

Isla was 49 weeks old on Friday! We had the movers picking up all of our stuff and that is why I am a few days late to post. We so had Isla's early birthday party and Nate's graduation party yesterday. Pictures to come in a bit! I am so sad I packed the giraffe blanket... Now her weekly pics won't be the same background! Oh well. 

48 weeks old

Isla is 48 weeks old today! It is getting really hard taking her picture because all she wants to do is move!! 

Walking with a walker!

Yesterday on Isla's 11 month birthday she started walking using her push walker! She was so proud of herself and we love watching her grow and do new things! 

11 months old

Isla is 11 months old today! She is such an active baby... She loves to stand and cruise on furniture, crawl everywhere, pet keke, eat anything you put in front of her and waves at everyone! She has 3, almost 4 top teeth and two bottom teeth. We love her so much! 

47 weeks old

Isla is 47 weeks old! We are a day late due to traveling to Chicago to find a house! Fingers crossed that we get the one we want! 

46 weeks old

Isla is 46 weeks old today! She loves to stand all day and is so adorable!! 

44 weeks old

Isla is 44 weeks old today! She loves to say her new favorite word... "keke"! 

10 month doctors appointment

Isla had her 10 month doctors appointment today. She weighs 22 lbs and is 29.5 inches tall. She gained 12 oz and stayed the same in height as last month (which could be off by a bit because we did height and weight at home last month)! She is in great health and is in the 91st percentile for weight and 92nd percentile for height! 

10 months old

Isla is 10 months old today! She loves to talk and is crawling up a storm! She started pulling up from sitting and loves to eat anything we put in front of her! She also loves giving kisses! 

43 weeks old

Isla is 43 weeks old today! She started clapping today and it is so cute! 

42 weeks old

Isla is 42 weeks old today!! 

41 weeks old

Isla was 41 weeks old last Friday! Nate and I were in Washington D.C. so I could not take Isla's picture. We missed her so much and are so happy to be home! 

40 weeks old

Isla is 40 weeks old today! She is such a happy girl! 

Top tooth!

Isla is getting one of her top teeth! She has her two bottoms and this is her first top tooth coming in. She hasn't even been upset about it! She is 9 months and 1 week! 

Standing using the couch

Isla decided today she can stand if we set her hands against the couch! She stood up holding the couch for a good minute today! She just turned 9 months old yesterday. 

9 months old

Isla is 9 months old today! She doesn't have a doctors appointment for a few weeks, so we took her monthly measurements at home. She is 29.75 inches long and weighs 21 lbs 4 oz. She gained 1.25 inches and 1 lb 7 oz since last month. She loves solid foods and talks up a storm! She crawls backwards only and rolls around like a champ. She is such a happy girl with such an amazing personality! 

39 weeks old

Isla is 39 weeks old today! It is also her 9 month birthday! 

38 weeks old

Isla is 38 weeks old today! She wasn't in the mood for photos today! 

37 weeks old

Isla was 37 weeks old last week! Because I was in the hospital, I missed taking her photo. I missed her so much while I was gone! 

36 weeks old

Isla was 36 weeks old on Friday... Ima was really sick and just got to take the picture! 

8 month doctors appointment

Today was Isla's 8 month doctors appointment. She weighs 19 lbs 13 oz and is 28.5 inches tall. She gained 10 oz and .5 inches since last month! She wasn't happy about vaccines and she has a cold, but other than that she is happy and perfect!
